Noelle Christina Yuan Farrar
She is beautiful and oh so precious. We think she looks so much like Emma - the eyes and her ears. :D
Noelle is 16 months of age and will be 20 months when we go to get her. She only weighs 16 pounds so she is so tiny - just like Emma! The information sent with her says she is quiet and shy. She was born in Henan Provice which is central China. She was born premature and when they found her she was only 4.5 pounds!! Oh and she is 27.17 inches tall.
Wayne got all choked up and teary upon seeing her for the first time just as he did with Emma. Me, too. It is surreal - just seems like we got our first photo of Emma and here we are with another little one. We are SO blessed.

Noelle Christina....how beautiful she is. What a wonderful life she has ahead of her as Emma's sister and your daughter. Love and blessings and every good wish for you all. I am in tears to witness such a special, wonderful day in your life. Love and very tight hugs...not long now...you won't feel the time fly as you prepare everything for her..Nicole and Jen xxx
ReplyDeleteTears for you here too! How is it that she really looks so much like Emma? Just meant to be all along I guess.
ReplyDeleteNow let's hope that those 4 months pass quickly!

She is beautiful! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. She sounds like our daughter at referral time. She is still a peanut, 5.5 years and only weighs 27 pounds and is about 40 inches tall.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to following along on your journey.
I found your blog link on RQ. Congratulations! Our son is from Henan, also, in the Xuchang City SWI. There is a Henan Children Yahoo Group if you want to join it and probably a group for the orphanage, too. We expect to travel in February.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is the same age now (and size--weight and height) as our daughter was when we brought her home!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations- so very excited for you!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!
ReplyDeleteLisa in Ohio - here I thought we had a very unique name picked out for Yuan. ;D It is a beautiful name and we decided since she was born in our hearts right before Christmas it fit perfectly - AND we love the name. I always say you have to pick a name you love and one which you won't mind saying over and over many times a day and as the years pass. We are going to nickname her Elly or Elle - I'm sure you do the same.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks everyone for the well wishes! Truly only people who have adopted or are in the process know how wonderful and breathtaking the experience is!
Chris and Wayne: Wonderful! Wonderful! Enjoy every minute of this adventure. She is a lucky little girl. Love the name.
